Allentown, Pennsylvania- Dr. Dhanalakshmi Ramasamy earned her MD at Coimbatore Medical College, Madras University in India and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1995. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA and her Fellowship at Drexel University. Dr. Ramasamy is a is a Child Psychiatrist with Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) and specializes in Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Room Services.
She has earned a Lifetime Achievement Award at Regional Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Association and named as Top Psychiatrist, Women in Medicine and received a Chief Resident Award. She is an Immediate Past President of Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society and member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy Child Adolescent Psychiatry.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, going for walks, and playing with her dog.
